Nancy Flores is executive vice president, chief information officer (CIO) and chief technology officer (CTO) for McKesson Corporation.Nancy is a results-driven technology executive with a record of transformational change and elevating performance. She is responsible for McKesson’s technology initiatives including software, infrastructure, application development tools and processes, operations, and cybersecurity. She also guides the overall direction for the company’s healthcare technology products and data and analytics.Prior to joining McKesson, Nancy served as CIO at Johnson Controls (JCI) where she was responsible for information technology, cybersecurity, and analytics. During her 22-year career at Abbott, she held various roles of increasing responsibility beyond a CIO responsibility, including Global Business Services,establishing Abbott’s back office operations. She is recognized for developing high-performing teams, and she has proven success in transforming back office and shared services by aligning to the business and improving the customer experience.In 2020, Nancy was named among Americas’ Top 20 Enterprise CIOs by I-CIO, and among the 100 Most Influential Hispanic Leaders in Technology by the Hispanic Information Technology Executive Council (HITEC).The Greater Milwaukee Women’s Fund recognized Nancy as a 2019 Futurist Leader for her strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. She also serves on the board of the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and is a member of the CIO Strategy Exchange (CIOSE), which is a selective program for chief information officers from forward-looking companies.Nancy is passionate about healthcare and making a difference in the lives of patients, care givers and the professionals who serve them. She is also a strong supporter of youth and women pursuing technology careers.Nancy earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Information Systems from Regis University in Denver, Colorado, and a master’s degree in Mathematics from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado.
